Distribution Reports
Introduction
A new feature was added in PIER 6.3 that allows for the tracking of distributions in PIER with significantly more detail available.
Step-By-Step
- Go to Reports Tab >> Distribution Report
You should see a list of documents distributed from your PIER Center.
- You may also view a distribution report screen by clicking on a link that appears immediately after a document has been successfully distributed.
- Additionally, get the distribution report screen of any distributed document by clicking on the distribution icon
next to it on the Documents Tab

- Clicking on any item on the list should take you to the Overview tab of that document distribution report.
- Click on the Recipients tab to see the details of the distribution.
This screen shows 3 recipients with the status of their message. - If you mouse over the status words, you get more detail on what is happening with a particular message. For example:
- Sent means that a message has been sent but not yet opened.
- Delivered means that the message has been opened by the recipient.
- Not Delivered means the message has not been opened. The details of why the message was not delivered are presented when you mouse over the status like this:

Suggestions
The Reponse column in this report may be filled:
- Manually by PIER Users, if they chose to do so.
- Automatically, when recipients click on the receipt acknowledgment at the end of a document distributed via email.
- To activate feature, you must check the Request Reciept option at the time of distributing the document.
- After clicking on the on the receipt prompt at the end of the email, recipients go to a screen you have configured for for recipients to enter a message, or they get a thank you screen confirming they have acknowledged receipt.

- See the Support File on configuring the Request Receipt.
