Distribution Reports

Introduction

A new feature was added in PIER 6.3 that allows for the tracking of distributions in PIER with significantly more detail available.

Step-By-Step

  1. Go to Reports Tab >> Distribution Report
    You should see a list of documents distributed from your PIER Center.

    • You may also view a distribution report screen by clicking on a link that appears immediately after a document has been successfully distributed.
    • Additionally, get the distribution report screen of any distributed document by clicking on the distribution icon This is an an image of the dopcument distribution icon.next to it on the Documents Tab

  2. Clicking on any item on the list should take you to the Overview tab of that document distribution report.

  4. Click on the Recipients tab to see the details of the distribution.

  6. If you mouse over the status words, you get more detail on what is happening with a particular message. For example:
    • Sent means that a message has been sent but not yet opened.
    • Delivered means that the message has been opened by the recipient.
    • Not Delivered means the message has not been opened. The details of why the message was not delivered are presented when you mouse over the status like this:

Suggestions

The Reponse column in this report may be filled:

  • Manually by PIER Users, if they chose to do so.
  • Automatically, when recipients click on the receipt acknowledgment at the end of a document distributed via email.
    • To activate feature, you must check the Request Reciept option at the time of distributing the document.
    • After clicking on the on the receipt prompt at the end of the email, recipients go to a screen you have configured for for recipients to enter a message, or they get a thank you screen confirming they have acknowledged receipt.
